Running for a Cause: Supporting The Royal Children’s Hospital Through Run for the Kids 2025
At JWJ Electrical, we’re all about supporting our local community, whether that’s through quality electrical services or giving back in meaningful ways. This year, I’m taking on a special challenge that’s close to my heart—running in the 2025 Run for the Kids to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital.
As a dad of two boys (soon to be three!), I know firsthand how important it is to have access to world-class medical care for our little ones. The Royal Children’s Hospital has been a lifeline for so many families across Victoria, providing critical care and support when it’s needed most. That’s why I’ve committed to lacing up my running shoes and hitting the pavement to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal, which helps fund life-saving research, equipment, and patient care.
This will be my second time participating in Run for the Kids, and I couldn’t be more excited to take on the challenge again. Running has been a personal goal of mine, and knowing that each step I take contributes to a cause much bigger than myself makes it all the more rewarding.
Of course, I can’t do this alone! Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference in the lives of children and families who rely on The Royal Children’s Hospital. If you’d like to support this fantastic cause, you can donate directly through my fundraising page:
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me so far—your generosity and encouragement mean the world. If you’re in Kilsyth, the Yarra Valley, or the Maroondah area and see me training, give me a wave!
Let’s come together to make a difference for the kids who need it most. 💜🏃
